Meet Mr Tod

mr todI married a fabulous surname; here in Cheshire it’s very unusual to meet another Todhunter, but up in Cumbria (where Mr T is from), you’ll find pages and pages of us in the phone book.

You may remember Beatrix Potter wrote a book about Mr Tod, the crafty fox. This may give you a clue to the origins of our name.

At the moment he’s sitting on the kitchen shelf “doing time” as an egg cosy, but who knows what his future will be. I have in mind a series of “woodland friends” who may join him, but on the other hand I so rarely make tiny crochet he might just sit here gathering dust …

Thanks for giving Mr Tod such a warm welcome, he now has several tiny friends and I’ve loved making them. Look out for an update soon on his progress.
