Beauty in the Ordinary…

While family life is  chaotic just now, with plans for the teen’s imminent departure for University, too many looming publication deadlines and Mr T working far too hard then is sensible I took a few minutes  “time out”. I stepped into the garden  just for a moment and listened to the silence (well what passes for silence here: tractors, a horse neighing, birds chattering), I watched the blue tits devouring seed in the bird feeders and saw this beautiful creature completely oblivious she had an audience.

Sometimes you just need to stand still and admire beauty in the ordinary.
