While the summer fruiting raspberries produced a dismal crop this year, the autumn fruiting ones are heaving with fruit. We’re eaten them straight from the canes, with cream, in pies and muffins…
We’ve reached the stage where the freezer is full and the family groan when I suggest fresh fruit for dessert (knowing I mean go outside and pick your own).
Fortunately, the ever lovely and always inspiring Regula has this recipe for Raspberry Vinegar (along with the most beautiful labels I have seen in ages), together with great photos showing how you can make your own.
I’ll be giving this as gifts no doubt …

/ September 18, 2012Mmm, my favourite fruit. Esp. rhubarb and raspberry crumble. Fruit has been in short supply in our garden this season. Even our normally abundant apple tree has struggled. Good to know at least some plants are thriving :-)
