I took a lovely break over the long Bank Holiday, lots of gardening done and home cooking. It was lovely to see my review of the Knit Studio in Newcastle in the latest issue of Inside Crochet – this is a great issue – particularly the lovely crochet dress by Emma Varnam.
Now it’s back to work and an opportunity to say a few thank you’s:
First of all to Gillie who organised a lovely Crochet taster afternoon at her house, it was lovely to convert a few more knitters to the art of crochet.
Secondly to Sue, who wrote such a lovely post about the crochet lesson I ran for her and a friend – an exhausting – but exhilarating day! Special mention must be made of the delicious home made carrot cake.
Finally, to Penny, who writes over at the Violet White blog, who made such a lovely job of reinventing my Flower garland pattern, take a look, her blog is very lovely.
I’ll be posting lots of news and a couple of new patterns next week, but now I have to dash and finish a couple of exciting commissions. Believe me,one of these is really pretty special.
Happy knitting xx
