With loads of magazine commissions on the go and two Learn to Crochet classes booked, life is more than a little hectic just now. By the time we sit down after tea, all I can bring myself to make are these tiny flowers (the pattern is one I use on my learn to crochet workshop and it’s very simple). So far I’ve made 50 of the darn things, I just can’t stop! I’ve promised myself, once the yarn runs out, that’s it. I’m moving on to a ripple cushion, I hear a lovely reader has made one from Nicki Trench’s Cute and Easy Crochet book using Noro Kogorashi and I’m very tempted to follow suit.
Now, back to these flowers – suggestions please – what shall I do with them??? If no-one comes up with anything better, there will be a bunch of people getting floral corsages for Christmas this year!

/ May 28, 2012You could put them on green florist wires to make flowers, then make an arrangement with dry oasis. Or sew them on to a plain sweater or cardigan
(Not long now until Woolfest!)

/ May 28, 2012Hee hee! Oh how you make me smile. I’m surrounded by mini piles of triangular and flowery bunting. Lovely to hook on a hot summers day, hence my expanding pile! How many more of us have secret piles of makes waiting to be transformed?
