These take no time at all (well, depending how quick you are at sewing on buttons). You might recognise some of the buttons which arrived as part of the recent Celebration Swap with Dawn, as soon as I saw them I knew I had to make something festive.
You will need:
A piece of felt in your chosen colour. Sewing thread and needle, approx 20 -2 5 buttons in varying shapes and sizes.
Instructions start here:
Simply cut 2 strips of felt approx 20cm x 4cm (put 1 strip aside for now).
Sew buttons in random shapes and sizes onto the strip, leaving a 0.5cm gap at either end for sewing up. Once covered in buttons, place the second strip underneath and sew together using blanket stitch. Fasten the 2 short ends together and sew a button in place. Make in any colours to match your decor, these look fab as vintage wedding decorations too.
