While I love that you read my blog – and thank you! – here are some blogs you should be reading. On a variety of topics, they all have a common theme of generosity and creativity.
Have you noticed that people who make are often generous with their time and their ideas?
First up is Linda Permann who writes a lovely blog about crochet and has written some very useful and practical books. She designed the circles scarf pattern I’m currently in love with:
Next is a baking blog, if you watched The Great British Bake Off, you may remember Miranda Gore Browne, one of the finalists. Her simple blog about baking, her family and country life is packed full of useful tips and recipes. Her chocolate brownie merangue cake was a great hit at our recent bonfire party!
If you like crafting blogs, I recommend Shelly Bobbins – but be warned – it’s easy to get lost in there and you can’t fail to be inspired!
Finally, take a look at Thriving Too. It’s a while since I contributed, but I’m a regular reader and love the eclectic mix of posts and contributors.
Finally, you might like to take a look at a new blog from the Textile and Ceramics Gallery, Fibre + Clay – and yes – they sell yarn too!
I hope you find time to browse some of these blogs and let the writers know what you think – we bloggers do love it when someone tells us they have dropped by :-)
