On my needles in August…

Just because I was on holiday for most of August didn’t mean the needles stayed at home. The lovely security team and Manchester aiport made me put my knitting needles in the hold, but I was allowed my crochet hook, so the flight passed quickly.

I won’t bore you with the details of an amazing holiday, but here is a little pic from our trip to New York:

Everyone needs to bake in a tutu once in a while!

I am busy knitting Christmas presents and still playing with the undyed Limari I bought from Fibre and Clay. I’m hoping my birthday will bring some books and dye supplies so I can get stuck in to creating my own shades and then making something beautiful with the resulting yarn.

I’m also looking for a double breasted jacket pattern with a moss stitch front panel, I know it mst be out there somewhere, so if you’ve seen a pattern that fits the bill, please let me know.

Tx
