I fell in love …

… with a little cotton rabbit.

I could never understand my mother in law’s fascination with knitted toys, but now I feel ready to admit I have fallen in love and can see her point.

The objects of my adoration are these gorgeous knitted animals made by Julie Williams. Unfortunately, she doesn’t sell the patterns, but I am so inspired I’m going to try my own and to start with this egg cosy pattern  I’ve bought this from Etsy.

I’ll let you know how I get on, and in the meantime I’m off to stick to the things I’m good at. Like making another batch of these:
