100 flowers to knit and crochet

Yes, there really is a whole book devoted to knitting and crocheted flowers – and I love it – here’s why.

Like most crafters, I have a large “stash” of yarn left over from previous projects, or to be honest, simply bought because  I fell in love with the texture, colour or smell (admit it crafters, you’ve done it too).  There are also times when I’m just not in the mood to work on a “big” project, I need something small I can make on the bus, or watch tv with. This book fits the bill on both counts. The flowers are small enough to fit in a small project bag, the patterns are (mostly) easy to follow and memorise. There are some very helpful tips on technique and terminology which make this a great book for the beginner who wants to expand their repetoire. The photography is clear and will give you heaps of inspiration. I am already planning a set of crocheted Christmas cards using the holly and mistletoe.

Projects are arranged by colour and by skill level and I dare you not to visit the yarn store purely to seek out  the perfect colour to knit your favourite. To prove just how easy they are
